Of course, we all know what occurs every year in October. We relished the opportunity to explore new places and meet new people during the spring and summer months. Summer, on the other hand, comes to an end eventually. We are gradually preparing ourselves for the upcoming winter months.

October marks the transition from one-night hookups to long-term relationships in our bodies. Inevitably, winter will arrive sooner or later. As a result, there is less sexual activity in the winter months. As a result, we plan ahead to ensure that we have a companion for the long and arduous winter months.

This is something that most of us have done at some point in our lives. Then, of course, when spring comes around, we question whether or not this is the connection we need. After that, the cycle is completed once again. When the corona cuffing season comes around, how can we get through it?

Let’s start with the definition first. Here, we’re supposed to agree on what “cuffing” actually means. According to Urban Dictionary, “cuffing” implies “when it’s cold outside, and you’re single and ready to meet people.” Or, to put it another way, you’d like to find a partner.

It’s the same with corona cuffing nowadays. It only refers to the pandemic period. Even if you’re not seeking a long-term relationship, it doesn’t imply that’s what you want.

During a pandemic, why do we sense the need for a romantic connection?

Human touch is essential to our survival as a species. During the coronavirus, we lost a lot of our normal human contact. The term “skin hunger” refers to an intense desire to be touched by another person.

You’re being told to go out and locate a partner by your skin hunger. When this pandemic is going on, you can experience skin hunger more than you would normally in the spring and summer. Cuffing is a signal your body sends when you feel the need to be physically touched by someone.

Touch releases the feel-good hormone oxytocin, which makes you feel more connected to the other person and increases your sense of security and well-being.

Do you have any tips on how to avoid getting cuffed?

Maybe you’d like to meet someone, or perhaps you’d rather not. Whatever the case may be, you’re nevertheless overcome with a strong want to be touched. The feeling is understandable, and it’s one that many individuals, particularly those who are single, are currently experiencing. There are, nevertheless, ways to get past it.

Make an effort to listen to your body’s cues.

Skin hunger is how your body tells you it wants to be touched. However, this does not imply that it must be sexual. When you’re experiencing this, pay attention to how you’re feeling. What kind of touch are you looking for? There is a huge difference between the two options.

Consider alternative methods of meeting your requirements.

Be creative in finding alternative ways to satisfy your desires, regardless of whether they are sexual or not at all. If you can’t meet someone in person, that doesn’t mean they can’t touch you. It’s okay to cuddle your pet. Massage yourself regularly. The cravings will be lessened as a result of this.

Get sex gadgets that are interactive.

It’s possible that you already have a mate, but the pandemic has forced you apart. However, this does not rule out the possibility of indulging in your sexual fantasies. Get Bluetooth-enabled sex gadgets that can be used together. As a result, it feels more real when you and your partner are in charge of each other’s virtual playthings.

Make new connections with people you know.

Spend time with your friends if you can, or simply FaceTime with them if you can’t. If you want to avoid feeling isolated, it is important to keep a regular social schedule. It’s even nicer if you’re able to give each other a hug. Get physical contact with persons you can see, such as relatives and friends.

You can meet someone online.

In the end, there’s no harm in trying it. Almost everyone is at home, feeling exactly the same as you do. You’ll get to know someone better even if you can’t meet them.

Be kind to yourself. Yes, I understand how much you long for another person’s touch, but you don’t have to limit yourself to that. You have two hands and, if you’re lucky, a few toys to play with. As a bonus, you’ll learn a lot more about your own body.
